A Christmas tree entirely made up of toys. Cute.

A shabbier part of East Nanjing Street.

they have these cute cola booths everywhere!

Aaand they also have HUGE Haagen Dazs stores compared to those in Malaysia lolss. We Malaysians are a poor lot hahaha.

A city council patrol car.
This is a city council patrol car which the city council officers use to go for their round on the streets. I’ve read in Chinese short stories and novels about these city council officers, but I’ve never imagined that their means of transportation would be so cute!!! And they are also feared because the illegal peddlers on the streets would scatter away with their goods whenever they see the officers, unlike in Malaysia – the hawkers don’t even care run; just smile and wave.

Flat screens on the streets for commercials.

Fresh cherries!
At East Nanjing Road, we sat on a tram which took us to the other end of the road coz it was kinda long, and it cost us 2 yuan each. And at night, we went to The Bund again to see the infamous night scenery. It was splendid, really. A cruise on Huangpu River was 70yuan per head, and since we were already in Shanghai, it was an obligation to go on the cruise and look at the beautiful lights of the city on the river.

Yeah, the Shanghai TV Tower.
Sigh the internet connection at Casa Subang is really slow although the router is in my unit. I guess I’ll have to wait till CNY to finish the rest of my trip coz travel posts are no fun without pictures!!! At least that’s what I think.
