We’ve been wanting to check out the Popular book fair at Summit but we didn’t have time to do so last week, so we postponed it to this week.

Luckily we didn’t forego the trip!

Most of the books are discounted at 50- 70%! Wooot!

And there are also a lot discounted at 90%!Double woot!!

Oh my goodness I almost refused to believe my eyes at first. Can you imagine this? Take Terry Goodkind’s Wizard’s First Rule series for example, they were originally priced at RM35.50, but after 70% discount, they only cost close to RM13! And another book I bought, John Keats by Robert Gittings was sold at 90% discount, only cost me RM2.49! And also 8414 strange fascinating superstitions which is a hard cover book that is still brand new for only RM12! There’s a lot more and if I were to list all of them out, I think I’ll be failing my ESL coz I need to work on my Investigative Studies.

*imagines SAM friends having their hearts jolted as they rush to skim through the rest of this post asap and continue with their reports and hate me for reminding them. Or they might just close this window before they even reach this line. Horrors of IS. =-=

I almost didn’t want to leave. T______________________________________________T I’ve never bought classics at RM1.45! God that place was heavenly! I can feel the bookworm in me rising to reclaim its place deep in my heart. *-*

Oh, and the CDs are also sold at very low prices. 90% and 70% and all. But they are mostly unpopular Chinese artistes’ albums so I wasn’t very interested in them. But I managed to dig some classical music CDs at around Rm7 per piece! Mostly Baroque musicians arrgggghhhhhhhh I’m so happy I feel like I’m not alive anymore.

Oh, but here’s a very important reminder, make sure you remember to bring your Popular member card with you or borrow or apply for one if you don’t have one coz members get 20% more discount than non-members. I think you’d most probably kill yourself at the fair if you couldn’t manage to get yourself one. Or you might just thicken your skin and go borrow from a stranger. Hey you might even get to know a cute guy and make a new friend. Lol, wait a sec, where is this going…

Okay back to books!

And oh here’s a second reminder! The price tags which are yellow coloured are nett prices while the white price tags are before discount. So make sure you do not mistake the price. Lol and also supervise the girl at the cashier when she’s entering the prices for your goods. She forgot to put the after discount price for one of my CDs. Fortunately, I’m a very smart and alert consumer and pointed out to her in front of her supervisor who was also supervising her =-=lll
